About the role
You'll optimize how videos get found across YouTube search and recommendations, and run the day-to-day publishing operations that keep every channel consistent, compliant, and aligned with its strategy.
What you'll do
- Optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, chapters, playlists, and metadata for search visibility and recommendations
- Conduct keyword and topic research using YouTube Search, Google Trends, competitor analysis, and SEO tools
- Identify underserved search opportunities and recommend content improvements
- Implement AEO/GEO-oriented optimization practices for video discoverability across search ecosystems
- Maintain metadata consistency and publishing standards across channels
- Manage day-to-day YouTube publishing operations
- Schedule uploads, manage thumbnails, playlists, end screens, cards, captions, and community posts
- Ensure videos are properly categorized and aligned with channel strategy
- Monitor channel hygiene, copyright issues, policy compliance, and content quality standards
